Head of Household and son as other dependent

My question is you have a son as a dependent who attends the UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA full-time and when the son is not in school comes home to be with his mother as head of the household.  But in 2024, the son works in Dallas, TX from May 20th to August 2nd.  How many months can you enter for the son in his mom's home?  That would total 2 1/2 months in Dallas.
