When I turned on my computer this morning the ATX 2024 icon had disappeared from the desktop.  I can find the program with a search, but haven't figured out how to re-add the icon to the desktop.  Options are pin to start or pin to taskbar.  Anyone have any ideas?  I've searched the communities here and didn't see anything on topic. Thanks,

Someone more tech-savvy will jump in here...

I have my icon pinned to taskbar.

If you want it on the desktop, I think you can just drag it and drop. Then you can move icons around to fit your needs.

You said you have to search for it. Is it also gone from your start menu? Have you checked the recycle bin?

You can try this:

Judy, I forget about the trash bin.  Let me start there.  Thanks for the detailed explanation.

And voila'!  The icon was in the recycle bin, from which I was able to restore it to the desktop.

Gremlins were at work on my computer in my absence. It is d/c'd from the internet when I am not at work.

Thank you !!!!!!!!

Search for atx.exe, find the one in the ATX2024 folder, right click, send to desktop (create shortcut).

My complaint with the icon is that when you install ATX updates, the install deletes and re-adds the icon so it's not where I had it, and I have to move it. WTF ATX?

Marilyn, it will open and show up on the bottom taskbar but will not allow me to click and carry it to the desktop.

If you want it off the task bar., right click and you have an option to remove it from the taskbar.
