Johnnie Welborne Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 I have a client that wanted to set up 501 c3 public charitable organization. However when completing form 1023, mistakenly checked wrong box as PF. This was the organization first year in operation and barely began performing exempt activities. Gross receipts were less than $50K. IRS code states to change to charitable organization from PF, a form 8920 must be filed along with a 990EZ schedule A. Question: Do I need to file a 990PF prior to submitting the form 8920 and 990EZ schedule A, to meet tax filing requirements for PF. Or just submit 8920 and 990EZ schedule A Quote
