kni9ght Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 I would like to know if ATX has controls so that only the administrator can delete a return from the Return Manager. Anybody know the answer? Quote
Mel in Hawaii Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 I don't remember anyone ever asking for that back when I was still working there, but definately a good idea and one that would not be all that hard to implement from the UI standpoint, but the backend damage that a knowlegeable user could do would not be stopable from within the software. Catherine Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 If this is an issue that's really important to your practice, Drake lets the administrator set permission levels for all users. Just FYI; not trying to "shill" for Drake. Catherine Quote
kni9ght Posted December 4, 2008 Author Report Posted December 4, 2008 I don't think so. thanks everyone who replied. Is there any "audit" entries made IF someone were to delete a return, if you know? Quote
Mel in Hawaii Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Unless it was a feature added after I left, there are none. Quote
kni9ght Posted December 5, 2008 Author Report Posted December 5, 2008 thanks everyone who replied. Is there any "audit" entries made IF someone were to delete a return, if you know? Mel, that's a pretty good change of venue going from Maine to Hawaii. What gives? Quote
Mel in Hawaii Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Mel, that's a pretty GOOD change of venue going from Maine to Hawaii. What gives? Actually I think it's a pretty HORRIBLE change of venue... Let's just say that I WAS married when I left Maine. The story reads like a soap opera so I won't go into that here, but the kids and I are doing ok although I would rather be living in Maine. 27 days to go and then maybe I can do something about that.
