I got a new client who has not filed 2006/2007. Can we still E-file 2007 returns? As I said before, this is my very first year doing taxes this late (what kind of returns we get at this time!) Client sold real estate properties in another state in 2006 and lost all documentation from those sales.

Thank you and have a peaceful Thankgiving Week.

Assuming it's an individual return you can't efile either year. Basically last day to efile individual returns is October 15th (+5 days for returns you transmit and reject and need to be fixed to go through.)

Eventually when modernized efile takes over we'll all be able to efile something like 3 years of returns. But that's not til 2010 or later. :(
