Probably all TRX/IntelliTax customers wills simply get TaxWise instead.

Err, topic is misleading. TRX did not sell to UTS. TRX however sold IntelliTax software and IntelliTax is sold to UTS.

As you may have read over the Internet and on the web sites of Tax Wise and Intellitax that CCH/Tax Wise has purchased Intellitax. Intellitax who is the software provider for the $299 package was bought out by CCH/Tax Wise who now will in turn produce a product for TRX's $299 package. The product will have the same features as Intellitax provided. TRX working with Tax Wise will have a online training package to get all of the Intellitax users comfortable with Tax Wise before the filing season begins. This aqusition will greatly benifit all of the companies involved. TRX is in the prcoess of moving to a new facility so TRX will not be open on Monday October 27th but will reopen on Tuesday October 28th.

I've heard nothing from the company directly. Any idea when we'll be receiving a working copy so I can transition my old files into the new software? Oh, and of course practice and tinker with the program itself a little.

Go to www.trxprotw.com and download the 2008 demo as a guest. They said they will be contacting us by phone or email to give us a code to convert from guest status to regular.
