Monkeyman Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Hello Everyone, Long time, no type! The Motorsports job was very fun, but the long hours were taking too much time away from my girls. I am at Virtual Managed Solutions now; that's the place where the "cream of the crop" ATXers wound up. It is great to be back working with this talented group of people. I will basically be selling their IT skills in the form of support packages so it will be easy. I worked with these folks for years and know what they are capable of. I hope all of you are doing well. I check in occasionally on you crazy bean counters because awww shucks you guys grew on me:) Good luck on the upcoming tax season! Kerry Quote
kcjenkins Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 That is fantastic, Kerry. I hope the company is doing well, I know they have a lot of talent and a great attitude, which we all miss. Thank goodness, I have my own personal IT Professional, so I have not needed the new company. But if I did not have my boy taking care of my IT needs, I'd sure be using them. Quote
BulldogTom Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Great to hear from you again Kerry. Post some pictures of the girls when you get a chance. Good luck at the new company. And don't be such a stranger. You are family here also. Tom Lodi, CA Quote
Monkeyman Posted October 15, 2008 Author Report Posted October 15, 2008 Thanks, Guys. I will post pics of the girls as soon as I can. Kerry Quote
Eric Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 I hear VMS recently got a fairly large contract and might be hiring, is that true? My brother may be applying for job there. Quote

Hey Eric, you missed the best candidate - Alan Keyes of the reform party. That is who I am voting for. How about some equal opportuntiy posting on your tag line for the "Best Black Candidate"? Tom Lodi, CA Honestly, I can't understand how people can get excited enough over the two major candidates in this election to buy bumper stickers and put signs on their lawn. I still haven't decided who I'm voting for. In the past, I've voted Libertarian, but am leaning more toward the Constitution Party candidate this time around. I'm one of those crazy people who is all about personal AND economic freedom, which apparently has become quite rare--we're expected to choose between the two. I wont go into any detail about my political views right now though.. those discussions always seem to get noisy, and I don't want to derail Monkeyman's thread. (feel free to start a new one, though) Quote

We are not hiring right now, Eric. He can post his resume at http://www.vmsus90.com/careers.htm for when we do. If he has the brains you do he will be an asset Kerry Quote
