bstaxes Posted June 21, 2008 Report Posted June 21, 2008 Miss your wit and wondering how your trip went. Quote
Julie Posted June 22, 2008 Report Posted June 22, 2008 Not sure we're going to find out before January. Haven't seen much of JB off season. Miss your wit and wondering how your trip went. Quote
Janitor Bob Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 I have been busy being engaged to the most wonderful woman in the world (in my humble opinion). I have been very busy with yardwork and honey-do items around the house that I could not get done during tax season. Ou trip to Key West was fun...but it is a VERY expensive place to eat and drink.... for two people, an average meal of salad, sandwich, side, and drink was $75.00....a nice "formal" meal for dinner for two averaged $120...but we had a blast and I asked her to marry me..and she said yes. RJM Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Congratulations JB ! You deserve a great mate.... -Bob Quote
bstaxes Posted June 23, 2008 Author Report Posted June 23, 2008 Congratulations and best of everything. She must be very special. The honey-do list will probably get longer as time goes by, but your love for each other should double, triple, and hundred-fold the length of that honey-do list. Wishing you many, many years of happiness. Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Way to go JB!!! Congratulations!! Let us know when the big event is!! Quote
joelgilb Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Looks like she already has had an effect on you. I don't sense any of the JB humor in this post. Anyway, congratulations! I hear that married men either live longer or Die early because they want to! jk Quote
PapaJoe Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 JB, add my congratulations to the list. Don't let the honey do list get you so busy that you don't have time to post here and keep us up to date with what's going on. Quote
Gail in Virginia Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Congrats, JB! "May you live as long as you love, and love as long as you live!" Quote
joanmcq Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 I'm off to do yard work myself. Congrats to you both! Quote
mcb39 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Good for you....and from what we know of you; she is a lucky woman. Wed is our 48th Anniversary. Doesn't seem possible. I still feel younger than that (some of the time). Bless both of you and keep us posted. Quote
