Gamerdue Posted July 28, 2022 Report Posted July 28, 2022 EFIN and EIN Application Roadblocks I have called up the IRS and checked the IRS e-services site. Here are the following information: 1. My Enrolled Agent application was received on July 7, 2022 2. My fingerprint card for EFIN application was received on July 25, 2022 3. The status on IRS e-services changed to "Submitted New" on July 27, 202 My concern is that I have a misdemeanor hit and run in 2017 and it shows on my FBI background check. My credit score currently sit at around 670. I've paid my taxes but no on time though. I paid late in July 24, 2022 because my tax prepare forgot to send in my payments. Will these listed problems be reasons why I won't get either my Enrolled Agent approval or my EFIN approval or both? I'm very scared and nervous right now. The EA and EFIN are my last hurdles to opening a business right now. Quote
