Christian Posted June 22, 2022 Report Posted June 22, 2022 A client who prefers getting a check for her refunds moved and gave me a slightly incorrect address for her return. The result is the Post Office returned it to the Service. Can I efile this to them or does it need to be mailed ? Quote
Lion EA Posted June 22, 2022 Report Posted June 22, 2022 I see only mailing in the instructions. Quote
Christian Posted June 22, 2022 Author Report Posted June 22, 2022 Thanks. I've been under the weather for some two weeks with a pinched nerve but thought this was how I handled one some years back. Quote
Lion EA Posted June 22, 2022 Report Posted June 22, 2022 Sounds like it was the client's fault. If they want to call/wait on hold to see if they can fax it to someone that would speed up the process... Quote
Gail in Virginia Posted June 23, 2022 Report Posted June 23, 2022 Is correcting the address one of the things they can do online if they set up a verified account with IRS? 1 Quote
