The Building my office is in was broken into last night. Several other offices were broken into, not much damage.

They tried to break into my office, fortunately I have a very sturdy door and very good locks so they didn't get in.

A good reminder to us all - are our hard drives encrypted? Are the file drawers locked? Do you have cyber insurance? Does your backup scheme include cold-metal restoration?

Very glad to hear that your office was not burglarized, cbslee!

Maybe time to consider an alarm company.  If the alarm going off doesn't scare tntruders away, the police are also notified.  It will cost you but might be worth it in peace of mind.  I don't know your building set up, but maybe the whole place can be alarmed and the tenants can split the expense.
