joanmcq Posted April 19, 2022 Report Posted April 19, 2022 It reads "the return submitted contains a duplicate SubmissionID. Recreate this return to assign a new SubmissionID and retransmit it. This is for an FTB- 568 that I sent with the 1040. What do I need to do to fix it? Quote

Once you file the first quarter, the second quarter keeps part of the first id number and that causes the rejection. I used to delete the form and recreate them a few times until a new number was generated. I don't recall exactly. Quote

Curious, why are you sending both of them together? Shouldn't the LLC, even if disregarded, go by itself? Tom Longview, TX Quote
joanmcq Posted April 20, 2022 Author Report Posted April 20, 2022 I think sending them together is the problem. Quote
JackieCPA Posted April 21, 2022 Report Posted April 21, 2022 I have gotten that error a few times and I just recreated the e-file and resent it and it worked. I'm not sure if that will fix it every time, but it did for me those few times. 1 Quote
Abby Normal Posted April 21, 2022 Report Posted April 21, 2022 ATX really needs a checkbox to create a new submission ID. It would solve the problem of having the wrong year in the submission ID, plus be the best way to fix duplicate IDs. 4 Quote
