Just received 2 email scams sent to my business email, one allegedly from Home Depot and the other allegedly from Shell Oil.

It was pretty obvious they were scams.

I have had so many that are supposedly new clients and want me to open attachments. I don't care if they are legit or not, I'm not biting. The ridiculous text messages that we have been getting from banks or credit cards that we don't have are scary. Some people would open them and not even think about it.

I am always amused by the ones claiming to have webcam recordings of me that they want bitcoin not to publish. Uh huh. I report every one of those bitcoin wallet scams on bitcoinwhoswho.

I get so much junk email I don't even bother to check it for scams, it just all gets deleted.  Maybe this summer I'll be good and report the scammers, but there are just so many...  usually for me it's things like "your order" from companies that I you couldn't pay me to do business with, so all easily avoided.
I do get some weird "new client" ones, but not as many this year as the last 2 years.

I had three random "clients" that just said "Sharing this IRS letter with you". Uh no! This is why I use a different email address on my website and with government agencies. I can catch scammers pretty easily, because very few of my clients have ever found that email. I keep asking myself why I have a website, when only a handful of clients will actually look at it.
