Late Form 8606

I know late Form 8606 for prior years can be filed on a stand alone basis.  However, it has to be mailed based on what I know.  I was wondering if I can attach the pdf from prior year to the current year 1040 to e-file them altogether.  If not, does ATX let you e-file just Form 8606 alone?  Thank you.
