Dave T Posted March 25, 2022 Report Posted March 25, 2022 T/P moved from PA to MO is first week of 2021. He as one week of pay in PA as well as a 1099G from them for approx. $2K in unemployment presumably for 2020. Not sure how to file for him? Does PA have partial year resident or non-resident similar to NY? Thanks very much Quote

Your software should have some sort of checkbox to tell it the dates of residency and possibly a box for PY. If you look at the PA-40 at upper right side you will see where a PY resident would have a "P" entered and a place for the dates. Quote
joanmcq Posted March 25, 2022 Report Posted March 25, 2022 You'll have to go into the W2 worksheets and mark any W2s (and any other documents) that they aren't taxable to PA. Pain in the butt. Quote
