gfizer Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Is it just my clients or is anyone else getting calls about Federal estimated tax vouchers not arriving in the mail. I bet I've had thirty calls in the past week from clients stating that they never received their vouchers. Anyone know what the deal is? I've come to the conclusion that maybe they are coming up with the economic stimulus rebate money out of funds saved on printing and mailing the vouchers! Quote
Chrisbry Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 I thought I saw something about the IRS no longer sending Estimate coupons if the return was e-filed. Maybe I was dreaming. I know that for my clients that we e-file Forms 941 quarterly, they are no longer sending those forms out. But I always print the estimates for my clients "just in case". Personally, I pay mine thru EFTPS. I think they are pushing more and more to electronically pay their estimates and balance dues. Quote
JRS Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 From what I understand, only paper filed 2006 returns will get the preprinted vouchers. Quote
indyscott Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Taxpayers who have a paid preparer do not get fed preprinted vouchers. Quote
