I'm a newbie with the estate tax returns. Thanks! Dan this here computer has more moving parts than a pencil. It is therefor smarter that me. Sorry about my "stuttered" response. Stocks & bonds are listed on Schedule "B" and (strangely) titled: Schedule B Stocks & Bonds. Please call up the form, read the schedule headings & the pertinent instructions thereto. Then ask all the questions you want! Lots of good people want to help. Z Quote

Actually, I was told that retirement money was supposed to be listed on a different schedule, like I or F instead of B. Since I would like to make sure, I thought I would ask you good people. Thanks for any input. Quote
zeke Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 Sorry for the sharp (friday p.m.) response. if you can answer yes to question a on schedule I, then you should use I, otherwise I would just use B. Quote

taxdan Posted June 26, 2007 Author Report Posted June 26, 2007 This index may be of help. http://www.irs.gov/instructions/i706/ix01.html taxbilly I have read the instructions, but the only place that even mentions IRAs is in the annuity section (sch I). It doesn't clarify whether they mean annuities placed in IRAs or just any IRA. I guess I will just put them in sch I. Thanks. Quote
