Alexis Posted February 9, 2022 Report Posted February 9, 2022 Hi, I am getting this ATX Rejection Error on IL1040 Step 8 Line 25, IL Tax Withheld, must be equal to the sum of all occurerences of state tax Withhel amounts of forms IRSW2 Line 17 plus IRSWG Line 15 plus IRS1099R Line 14 plus state 1099G Line 11 plus state 1099DIV Line 15 plus state 1099int Line 17 plus State 1099Misc Line 15 plus State 1099OID Line 14 plus State 1099K Line 9 plus State 1099Nec Line 5 when the corresponding state Abbreviation code on these forms equal IL...... I have reviewed everything and everything looks good. I am not sure why ATX E-File is rejecting the Illinois State E-Filing. Does anybody know how to fix this issue or have been having the same issue? It is happening on the returns that include 1099G Forms. Quote
rsjcpa Posted February 10, 2022 Report Posted February 10, 2022 I've had the same issue, Alexis. ATX customer support said a fix would be forthcoming. In the meantime, they said the workaround is to remove the "IL" from any 1099-G with no Illinois withholding. But if this is for an income tax refund that is taxable on the federal return, you'll need to manually enter the subtraction on the IL-1040. Quote
rsjcpa Posted February 11, 2022 Report Posted February 11, 2022 Ugh, ATX's workaround did not work! Quote
Hey!WeShouldHangoutSoon!! Posted February 11, 2022 Report Posted February 11, 2022 I have nothing to add except I'm having the exact same issue and it's extremely frustrating. Hopefully they will resolve this soon Quote
