TexTaxToo Posted January 30, 2022 Report Posted January 30, 2022 Last year, I received such a letter saying they needed another 60 days. I got it about 4 months after my initial response. They did respond and resolve the issue after another 4 months. Patience. Quote

FDNY Posted April 24, 2022 Report Posted April 24, 2022 At least they’re good at keeping us up to date on progress.  Hearing nothing always worries me.  Waiting over a year on a decedent’s return, just a certified mail return receipt 1 Quote
Lee B Posted May 17, 2022 Author Report Posted May 17, 2022 Information mailed in December with receipt acknowledged by IRS on December 22, 20021, still not processed. Just received a CP22A asking for Balance Due Payment by June 6th 2022. Called Phone Number on the letter and asked for an up to date transcript. Couldn't get thru to a live person or get into an on hold queue? Quote
