Teresa K Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 Does ATX 2021 contain batch extension capabilities? Pardon my ignorance, as I am on the client service side of our firm and not a tax professional. I remember reading something years ago, where it indicated it used to. I read a post last year stating that it was possible, but there was no confirmation number provided. If not, is anyone aware of a software that can do this? We need to create approximately 1400+ this year. It is exceptionally time consuming for our team to do this one by one. I'm just researching other options at this point. Many thanks! Quote
Randall Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 I haven't checked it lately. But I don't do batch extensions. I enter each one separately. Quote
Slippery Pencil Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 I don't believe it does. At 1400+ returns, you shouldn't be considering top tier software, not bottom tier software like ATX. 1 Quote
schirallicpa Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 I feel like we could batch efile extensions at one time. But not now. And I agree - you might consider bumping up out of the ATX level. Quote
Abby Normal Posted December 16, 2021 Report Posted December 16, 2021 My 4868 form customizations make creating efile extensions a lot faster, but still, having to create one at a time is ludicrous. Quote
