BulldogTom Posted November 10, 2021 Report Posted November 10, 2021 My son has worked on this project since he started with Spinlaunch while a senior in college. They just proved concept on a 1/3 scale kinetic launch system. Daddy is very proud of his little one. Tom Longview TX 10 Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted November 11, 2021 Report Posted November 11, 2021 Pretty impressive and pride in his participation should be obvious. He must come from good stock, right? Was he pictured in the video? Quote

Lee B Posted November 11, 2021 Report Posted November 11, 2021 I watched the video, it was very interesting. Definitely an out of the box approach, I hope they succeed. 1 Quote

Eric Posted November 12, 2021 Report Posted November 12, 2021 That's crazy, a friend of mine sent me this video earlier in the week; I did not expect to see it here! Very cool, Tom. Quote

Medlin Software, Dennis Posted November 15, 2021 Report Posted November 15, 2021 Stories like this should be lauded, as it gives up hope for the future (as compared to the "regular" news). I say this as being in a similar situation, son who helped many with initial covid issues, participating in developing an in house test for covid when there were not enough tests to go around, etc. (Sr. Clinical Researcher), and who was encouraged by his mentors to take the MCAT and is now an MS1 - and already helping patients in student run free clinics. 2 Quote
