Help to email a 8878 to client

I need help in emailing a specific form to taxpayer for them to sign and send back to me. I need to send them only the 8878 for efiling pin on extension. Help??????????Please.

First, you only need that if they are going to be paying with the extension. If they do not owe, you don't need their signature to efile the extension.

If you do need it, you need to print the form as a pdf. Save it to your desktop, then send them an email and attach that pdf file as an attachment. They can then print it, and fax it back to you. The faxed copy is all you have to have on file.

Michael, what is this "PRINT SCREEN" you say to open? I'm familiar with the PRT SCR key and how to use it, but I don't think I have a program by that name. Sounds like it could be useful.

USE THE regular print function - where it says filing,client,preparer copy select Custom - then select just the form(s) you want. -then on top instead of print hit pdf. you will get a pdf of just that form. you can then email it to your client
