Linda Mathey Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 I always used to use Capital Changes Reporter but since I am on my own I do not have that service. I am looking for a free service that will allow me to track stock splits, spin off's, etc. on stocks. Specifically right now I have a client that bought First Data Corp in 1994 and now owns more shares than the original purchase. They cannot remember selling any shares. Before I allocate 100% of the original purchase price to the shares I would like to be able to track splits. Can anyone help? Quote

I use that for all my historical stock pricing. Not sure if it has information on splits, spin-offs etc. Quote
JohnH Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 You might try their investor relations dept. http://www.firstdata.com/contact/invrel.htm Quote
Kea Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 Yahoo finance had very good price and dividend history as well as splits. As for spin-offs, I usually go to that company's website and look for investor relations. http://finance.yahoo.com/ Quote
