Correct 1099 2018

Any ideas where I can buy some 1099's for 2018? I have to do a corrected one but cannot find 2018 Forms anywhere.

Can you order them from the IRS?  I know prior year forms are available on the website, and some people actually use those to file even though the instructions say to NOT use the red copy A that you can print from the website.  So I am wondering if you can call the IRS and order the 2018 form 1099-MISC from them for free.  Of course, it would probably take 10 days or more to get it that way.

They are only allowing me to order 2019 and forward. I am wondering if it would be a big deal to just print them online in the color red and file them that way. 

Any thoughts?

I did look on eBay and they seem to be available there.  Like I said, some people seem to get away with printing them but I have not personally ever tried it.

How many do you need?   I can check my supply cabinet tonight.   I think I have a few in there.

I have 11 sets, 2 per page, Red copy A, Copy B, Copy C and Copy 2.   I also have the red copy 1096's from 2018 if you need a few of those. So if you have less than 22 payees, I can get these to you.   PM me with your address and I will get them in the mail 2 you tomorrow USPS 2 day mail.

Places like EFileMyForms allow preparation of prior-year forms, if you also need them e-filed and/or mailed out.
