jklcpa Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 I've never seen that error. Is it every return? Is your computer's date correct? I checked the knowledgebase but didn't find any help. Might require a call to ATX...sorry. Quote

Thanks, jacksorh If you click on that error message, it should take you to the location of the error. It sounds like you have a date out of whack somewhere in the return. Quote
Lion EA Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Schedule D transaction with dates flipped? Short sale not coded correctly? Quote
taxperson Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Before you make that call try going to the tax year beginning and ending dates. They're at the top of the first page of the 1040. Make sure you haven't entered wacky dates or strange stuff like space or . , % ^ & $ %, etc.. Click Restore to clear them out. Quote

Thanks, Thanks for all of your comments, however, the return that was rolled over showed that it was an amended return from the previous year. I deleted the form and I don't see the error in any more. Thanks a million, Quote
