Linda Mathey Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Hi, I am preparing estimates for a client. I noticed the 1040ES said there was an update. I updated forms and now the first estimate instead of being due 4/15/20 it says 12/16/19. What the heck is going on? Linda Quote

Linda Mathey Posted March 31, 2020 Author Report Posted March 31, 2020 I tried to alert ATX but of course with new hours they are closed. Better to not have updated but expected to see July 15, 2020. Quote
Abby Normal Posted April 1, 2020 Report Posted April 1, 2020 I'm not seeing that. Updated forms and nothing came down. I changed the variable in the letter from estimate due date to return due date, but estimate due date still says 4/15/20. I override the return due date on late filing tab to 7/15/20. Quote
Linda Mathey Posted April 1, 2020 Author Report Posted April 1, 2020 Just went into the forms and the date on voucher 1 is fixed. I opened a case last night and they took care of it. Quote

TaxCPANY Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 I've over-ridden the first two due dates in the 1040-ES Record and the resulting PDF looks fine. Also, I don't use instruction "letter" but, rather, the whitespace-rich, larger font "Client Instr" -- and over-ride its "Post return by" date to "quarterly".) 2 Quote
