Randall Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 We haven't had a program update in a long time. A lot of Forms updates. It seems in the past we had several program updates throughout the tax season. Anyone know why it's different this year? Quote
Yardley CPA Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. I'm not sure why there hasn't been an update recently. Maybe the program is running as expected and there is only a need to update forms. 3 Quote
ILLMAS Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 I have to say, there is a glitch I am encountering, sometimes I cannot open two returns at the same time and it drags a couple of seconds when I hit tab to move to the next box. And this is on a brand new computer, 2018 works fine. Quote
B. Jani Posted March 4, 2020 Report Posted March 4, 2020 I have new computer with windows 10 and 16 ram. i do not have problem opening 2 returns at the same time. Quote

It depends on the size of the returns. I can open 3 small returns at a time. I can open one large and one small, but I can't open two large returns at the same time. 2 Quote
Randall Posted March 4, 2020 Author Report Posted March 4, 2020 I just noticed my letters are saying Kentucky tax should be paid by April 20. I don't know if I missed something about Ky delaying payment date or if it's a glitch. Quote
WITAXLADY Posted March 5, 2020 Report Posted March 5, 2020 my program shuts down randomly with notice unexpected error and without notice! and the letter that owes says first - (for the farms now) - April 2016!! and when I delete and re input - Oct 2019!! And what is with the Home office worksheet - this I was going to report - all the real estate tax and mortgage interest goes to Excess! instead of where it should be flowing... but overall - xjinx - going well. Randall Posted March 5, 2020 Author Report Posted March 5, 2020 I noticed on the Ky letter options, the due date was set for April 20. That must have been set originally because I didn't set it. I changed it to April 15 and the letters are correct now. Quote
