Yardley CPA Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 Is there a problem with the Efile Manager?? Specifically the "status date" column. All of my times are stamped as 12:00 AM? Is that correct? I was under the impression that it should reflect the actual time it was accepted? Quote
jmallard Posted March 20, 2008 Report Posted March 20, 2008 All my Status Dates are 12AM too. Don't have a clue as to why. Was not so in 2006, showed different times. Jerry Quote

Jerry And what is even scarier is that they are postmarked as 12:00 AM, which is midnight or the morning of the day that I transmitted them. So I transmit at 3:30 in the afternoon and they are postmarked as 12:00 that morning. And no IRS postmark date . . . . Maribeth Quote

Maribeth If you're concerned about it, maybe you should call the IRS e-file help desk and ask them what time they acked a couple of your returns? (then let us all know what you found out) Quote
Joel Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 If you go to MYATX under the efile tab you can get the date and time the return was accepted by the IRS. Joel Quote
taxperson Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 All the IRS will ever check for when looking at the "postmark" is that a return transmited prior to the due date. The EFC just simplified the programming. Quote
