Yardley CPA Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 I have a client with 4 States and the Fed 1040. When I go to create the efile, it only creates the Federal 1040 and 3 States. Is that the maximum number? Quote
lydia33 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 I think you can only efile one state per client. Had that problem with Miss. and Ala. It would not let me efile one. Quote
taxperson Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 Yardley? Which 4 states? lydia33. You can efile multiple states in one return. But you can only have 1 piggy-back with the federal. The rest have to be sent State Only Quote

It has to be mailed. Quote
