Catherine Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 All kinds of non-ATX Massachusetts e-file problems this year!! I've had _so_ many people rejected for completely specious reasons. Latest was a lady rejected because the MA e-file server "doesn't recognize primary or spouse SSN". Well, she's been divorced two years, has NOT changed her name, and e-filed just fine _last_ year. Another one got rejected for "Line items on Sch DI do not match" - except that they _do_ match. I've seen lots of other notes here for MA problems -- are others seeing more problems than usual as well? Think it's because of all the frou-frou with the new Schedule HC? Catherine Quote

Catherine I am also getting crazy rejections on my MA Corp extensions. My 355-7004s have been coming back with: MEFMAF355-7004-4 Form 355-7004 The maximum number (2) of accepted corporate extensions Form 355-7004 has been reached. The maximum number (2) of accepted corporate extensions Form 355-7004 has been reached. Does this mean I can only eFile two MA corporate extensions with ATX? ATX says this is a "rejection by agency" error. There have been no other MA extensions filed for these corps. Quote
LSmith33 Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 I got the same error when I filed one of my corp's yesterday too. I wondered about that and then thought maybe the client had went somewhere else and had them file the extension... I guess I should assume the extension has not been filed... ~Laura Smith, EA Quote
