Tracy Lee Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 I'm working on a Return with 7 Sch E's and 2 Sch C's, I need to attach my 1099-K to one of the Sch C's and the drop down box in the 1099-K box 1a - select form to link to box 1a will not give me the option of the Sch C.....grrrr....even though I entered the 1099K from the Sch C I want it to flow to. I have closed out ATX, Saved.... to refresh it and it won't work. WHAT THE HECK!!!??? Quote
jasdlm Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 I know this is probably the first thing you checked, but are the 1099-k and the schedule C both coded to the same spouse if a joint return? 1 Quote
Tracy Lee Posted April 3, 2019 Author Report Posted April 3, 2019 AHHH Bingo!!! Sch C is in her name but the 1099 K came in his. I put it in hers and it magically appeared! Thanks! 1 Quote
Abby Normal Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 Just enter directly on Sch C and skip the 1099 input. Using those 1099 input forms is a waste of time. 2 Quote
Lion EA Posted April 3, 2019 Report Posted April 3, 2019 And, if it was HIS income, why is it on HER Schedule C? Quote
Tracy Lee Posted April 3, 2019 Author Report Posted April 3, 2019 It is her income the Merchant company put in the wrong name. I'll have to call client and ask them to have that corrected. Quote

I have never entered the 1099 K information on a return. I just use it to double check against the clients total sales for reasonableness. 2 Quote
