Jan S Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 I bought 5 PRS returns. The first 4 printed out OK. I just finished the 5th return and I can't print it at all. When I tried the PDF print, it came out blank. Any suggestions? Quote
jasdlm Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 I don't know what PRS is, but I created a pdf with a 1065 yesterday and it came out blank. I kept re-trying and it was still blank. I shut down the software and reopened . . . nada. I finally shut down the entire computer and then powered back up, and the pdf filled. It's a long shot, but you might try it. Quote
Mel in Hawaii Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 Pay per return system... But I agree with your solution, shutting down the computer is a good start, but I would also check available hard disk space as that could also be the culprit if there is not enough disk space for the temporary files (make sure there is at least 50 megabytes free to be safe). Catherine Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 I bought 5 PRS returns. The first 4 printed out OK. I just finished the 5th return and I can't print it at all. When I tried the PDF print, it came out blank. Any suggestions? Even with the "regular" program (not PPR), I've had several pdf printing glitches this year. Including returns that seemed to print fine, but when I go to open them, I get a "this file is damaged" report. Re-booting has worked in all cases (so far!) for me this year. But since machines take so long to boot up, it is a pain. Catherine Quote
joanmcq Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 I've had a problem with PDFs not emailing through yahoo. I can send them through hotmail, but not yahoo. come up 'file corrupted'. Quote
