Possi Posted October 15, 2018 Report Posted October 15, 2018 Not sure on a part year return, I'll have to research the year my clients moved there and that will take more time than you have. I know that $20k comes off military pension and I can tell you all about it on a full year return. Sorry! Quote
mwrightea Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 Colorado excludes 24k of taxable pension and social security income if taxpayer is 65 or older, 20 k is excluded for under 65. Sorry this is a day late! 1 Quote

Sorry this is a day late! So if my PY person has govt pens 34k and ss pension 11k while in co the best they can do is 24k? Quote
mwrightea Posted October 16, 2018 Report Posted October 16, 2018 If total taxable pension & SS is 45k then, yes only 24K is excluded from Colorado income tax 1 Quote
