IRS releases revised 1040 ES & Instructions

In the spirit of providing assistance to confused taxpayers and preparers,

on Friday the IRS released a revised Form 1040 and instructions 

I did notice that the 110 % rule remains unchanged.

In order to maintain my mental equilibrium, I have chosen to ignore the other 12 pages :-)

Just clarify my post is about the estimated payment Form 1040 ES and instructions.

They should add one additional page - one with concentric circles displaying varying amounts of money, suitable for hanging on a dartboard.  Take the average of four consecutive throws and you have the correct amount of estimated tax to pay each quarter.

It's been an interesting year calculating estimates for people who also have withholding.
