Insert text

I need to file a short year return for a non-profit which requires inserting "Change in Accounting Period" at the top of page 1 of the 990. I am having trouble inserting the text so that it isn't covering the title of the form, i.e. there isn't enough room to insert the text. Any help?

Print the return to a PDF first. Then print that to another PDF and scale it down so there is room. Then add text to scaled down PDF.
