Is the IRS currently accepting business/exempt tax return?  Also, when is the expected date to start e-filing individual (I have some prior years) returns?

MeF shutdown for business returns is scheduled for Dec 26th.

I don't have the exact date on hand for when individual 1040 MeF reopens, but if I recall correctly, the official filing season opens in the third week of Jan 2018.

I have filed two this week and they have been accepted.
