Sarypion Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Is anyone using (or have used) EFTPS® Batch Provider Software? Would you mind sharing your experience in setting up and using this software? Thanks a million! Quote
Ryanvv126 Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 I use it for my 941, 940, and most estimated tax payments. It is definitely not the most intuitive piece of software, but there are not many other options. Quote
Lee B Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 What exactly does this software do ? Quote
Sarypion Posted November 22, 2017 Author Report Posted November 22, 2017 This is taken directly from EFTPS, the software " ...is designed for people (typically, tax professionals) who prepare and pay federal taxes for clients or multiple Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TINs). " So, you only have to login once to make tax deposits for ALL clients! It seems very convenient, but I haven't heard much about it. Not sure if it's worth spending time to set up. I wonder what other/better alternatives are out there. Quote
Sarypion Posted November 22, 2017 Author Report Posted November 22, 2017 Sorry for double posting. I couldn't find an Edit function. I finally finished reading the Batch Provider Manual, and decided to give this a try. Like Ryanvv126 said, there doesn't seem to be many options. Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 I do the EFTPS for only a handful of clients, including my own. IMO it does not take that much time to log into each individual EFTPS account. Quote
Sarypion Posted November 27, 2017 Author Report Posted November 27, 2017 I've been using EFTPS website too. I was surprised to find this software. It seems that you can create a PIN for clients, instead of waiting for them to receive the PIN letter. I've had clients who just never receive the PIN letter. And I'm hoping the software eliminates the need to keep track of things with a spreadsheet. Quote
