Margaret CPA in OH Posted November 20, 2017 Report Posted November 20, 2017 Hmm, I keep getting the message that the page has expired and is no longer available. What am I missing? Quote
Abby Normal Posted November 20, 2017 Author Report Posted November 20, 2017 It redirects me to CodeConnect. I'm thinking it's a work in progress. But it looks good from the video. Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted November 20, 2017 Report Posted November 20, 2017 I was also redirected there but still get the expired page notice. I'll try another day. Quote
Abby Normal Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 AnswerConnect is included with TTO or Advantage packages. Or you can buy it separately for Max. Might be time to upgrade to Advantage. Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Aha! I just have Max. Intelliconnect used to be included with Max so that's probably why my username and password still work. I just don't have access. At nearly 72 and seriously looking at retirement, I won't be spending more on tax software, won't be growing my business and can certainly find ways to access needed information, including this fabulous board. Thanks for helping to solve this problem. I was wondering if it was related to bad breath or something else on my part 1 1 Quote
Abby Normal Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 I'm old, too, but not THAT old... so I just opened my wallet and upgraded to Advantage. I knew the day would come when ATX would offer enough good things to make Advantage worth it, I just didn't think it would be now. I wonder if I get chocolates with with concierge support? 1 1 Quote
Abby Normal Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 ATXKristin just posted that it's supposed to be included with Max, but if you renewed before August, your account may have AnswerConnect added to it. C'mon ATX! Get it together. My salesman told me I'd have to pay $500 more (on special) to get AnswerConnect. Now I don't know if he lied to me or if he actually didn't know. 2 Quote

You have a 50/50 chance on this one! I have experienced both. Some years, both at the same time... I have come to loathe talking to anyone at CCH except tier 3 technicians. Everyone else makes my blood boil!! Quote
Abby Normal Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 What everyone at ATX has failed to mention is that there are 3 levels of AnswerConnect and I don't even know which one I have! Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Well, I did renew before August so have to do some digging, I suppose. Hmph, I just looked at my invoice from May. There is no mention of Answer anything so guess I am sol. It kinda irks me to have to pay for 1040 Lite which I don't use and 2 additional user licenses when there is only one of me and old books which I don't want or need. Guess that's one way to clear out the old inventory. Quote
Abby Normal Posted November 22, 2017 Author Report Posted November 22, 2017 Contact your sales rep and tell them you heard it was included with Max and to set it up for you. 1 Quote
