Abby Normal Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 I'm surprised that ATX isn't pushing Total Office users to Advantage. Dropping users back to Max costs ATX money. Total Office has 5 licenses included and Max only has 3 but 2 licenses at 99 is only 198. Yet Total Office costs $700 more than Max (full price). I'm confused. I thought ATX was pushing us all toward Advantage. https://www.cchsfs.com/professional-tax-software/atx.aspx Quote
NECPA in NEBRASKA Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 I know that I certainly don't need 5 user licenses, but I thought that I Intelliconnect was not included with Max. I did just receive my third 2016 Taxbook and first state book when I renewed. The state book is useful. I just won't pay that much extra for Advantage. Quote
Abby Normal Posted June 14, 2017 Author Report Posted June 14, 2017 Intelliconnect is included in Max. I looked at Total Office and Advantage and there's just not enough difference from Max... yet. Quote
NECPA in NEBRASKA Posted June 14, 2017 Report Posted June 14, 2017 Dang! I should have downsized. Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted June 14, 2017 Report Posted June 14, 2017 The package being discontinued is the 1040 Total Office, not Total Tax Office. Quote

Was that a secret menu item? Because I've never seen Total Office on the website. Or is that just a nickname for the 1040 package? Quote
Lynn EA USTCP in Louisiana Posted June 15, 2017 Report Posted June 15, 2017 I don't really know Abby Normal. I just quoted a notification from ATX. I never used a strictly 1040 package since my practice services individuals and entities, and also payroll, so I needed the full blown MAX package. Quote
