TAXMAN Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 Rita, Is pigeon Forge very expensive and your thought on this for the family. I noticed you were in TN. Quote
Possi Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 We were in Gatlinburg and found a nice 2 BR condo very reasonable, but it was in January. You can spit and hit Pigeon Forge from there, so when you are looking, look all around. This is the condo where we stayed. Straight up a mountain, the view was great. I've stayed in cleaner places, but it was very comfortable. http://www.ourplaceinthesmokies.com/great-escape.html 1 Quote
gfizer Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 We've done nice condos during peak season for as little as $80 bucks a night. You just have to look. Attractions are pricey and if you have kids you sometimes feel as if you should just walk down the street handing out $100 bills but the area has a lot to offer and if you're into nature there is plenty of hiking and the like to do for free. Tubing on the river is fun and inexpensive during the warmer months. We are actually heading that direction this weekend - looking forward to it! 1 Quote
