Chowdahead Posted January 22, 2017 Report Posted January 22, 2017 I have a client who earned about $31k, 3 kids. She didn't have health coverage for alll of 2016 but her kids did. She does not have legal permanent residency yet in the US but she has a work permit and SSN. Any idea if she qualifies under the "certain non-citizens exemption" of the ACA? I'm leaning towards yes, but I'd like some second opinions. Thanks! Quote
Pacun Posted February 14, 2017 Report Posted February 14, 2017 ACA is weird, some people yes and some people no (to penalty). TPS people were included under ACA but DACA people were not included. If you know what I mean. Quote
