Karen Lee Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 I am retired now but still do my own tax return. I am in need of a fixed asset manager for my own stuff. Cost is a consideration since it is only for myself. What do you recommend? DO NOT MISS WORKING!!! Thanks Karen Quote
Elrod Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Karen, check out these sources..... https://sourceforge.net/projects/fixedassets/ http://www.capterra.com/fixed-asset-management-software/ 1 Quote
Margaret CPA in OH Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Free software is, of course, good. You might also check cmifixedassets.com. I've been using it for years. While free (what I use), there is an update fee annually when things change - as it seems they always do. 1 Quote
Lion EA Posted December 6, 2016 Report Posted December 6, 2016 Search on Free Fixed Asset Management Software and you'll find lots to check out. And, Excel has multiple fixed asset templates included: File, New, Business Quote
Karen Lee Posted December 15, 2016 Author Report Posted December 15, 2016 Thank you so very much. I still have people finding me for taxes but I usually block them. How do I tell them that I don't love them anymore? I moved, changed my numbers and they still find me. Karen Quote
BulldogTom Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Karen, Take a look at Cellutionware https://www.cellutionware.com/index.html Very good for both book and tax including AMT and state. I loved it when I had it. $350 and an annual maintenance fee of about $200. May be too much $ for what you are looking for, but I highly recommend it. If you look on the testimonial page, I am on it on their website. Tom Newark, CA Quote
