Please only vote in areas where you have studied the issues and options!  None of *us* I shouldn't think, but far too many go in to the booth clueless and fill in the circle or push the lever based on "I dunno; this looks OK".  Especially but not exclusively about state/local issues.  When in doubt, leave it blank!

Yeah....I was beginning to think that less drugs were being made...Now we can get back to those ads, and food.

Now that is funny!  Glad it's over and I can continue to be amazed at all the side effects, from the drugs I mean.

After listening to those lists you start to think the original ailment jes ain't all that bad, y'know?!

My husband times the reading of the side effects, sometimes it's 3/4 of the commercial.

I hate taking meds that are advertised, because then I'm hearing the side effects all the time!

At least now the drug commercials give some clue as to what ailment the drug is used for. When those commercials first came on the scene, some of them were rather vague about the condition they were supposed to help. I think the one for Rogaine might have been like that Too long ago to remember now, but it was before the internet or easy access to finding that information.

Rogaine tastes terrible!

OK, with that I learned something new tonight. I had to look up why anyone would take this orally and found out it's a vasodilator used to treat high blood pressure. All these year I thought it was only a topical for thinning hair. I shouldn't be surprised because several of my dogs have been on sildenafil (Viagra) to treat pulmonary hypertension, as that was its original use. The vets tell me they are always pleasantly surprised when they don't get the all-too-common giggling when first prescribing it to new pet owner patients.

Recently I learned to look directly at my wife when she talks to me, no matter what I'm doing at the time.  I think I've learned to read lips because she is a low talker, but she will blame me for not listening when I get it wrong, which I don't argue, I know better.

If any of you have any advice I'm open to it and it is greatly appreciated in advance, could save a life.

I have been wearing hearing aids for about 20 years now.  They help but are not like the original hearing.  Reminds me of a joke.

Two old men were playing golf and one said, "it sure is windy today."

The other thought for a moment and said, "no .. today is Thursday."

The first replied, "yeah, I'm thirsty too.  Let's stop at the club house and get a beer."

That is pretty much the way it is when you are hard of hearing.

Try one of these handy replies for when you have no idea what she said:

Who, me?
Have I told you lately how much I love you?
You're adorable.
Have you lost weight?
I love that top. You should wear it more often.
I'm sorry, I was thinking how beautiful you are. Can you say that again?
