gplevritis Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 After changing my router from verizon fios, i now try to load ATX 2015 and get error message could not open transactional storage with the status of some processes. Has anyone else had this issue. Quote
FDNY Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Yes, I get this often and after re starting services it works fine. You can go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > then restart the service for ATX. I usually do 2013-2015. There is another method but this is what I have been doing since 2013. 1 Quote
gplevritis Posted October 9, 2016 Author Report Posted October 9, 2016 Thanks so much for the response, I was excited that it might work, however, it did not. Would it be too much to share your other method? It might be worth giving a shot... thanks again! Quote
Jack from Ohio Posted October 9, 2016 Report Posted October 9, 2016 Do a complete shut down and reboot. It is NOT an internet problem. The program is not connecting to the server program on your computer (if standalone) or your local server, if you have a dedicated server. Also, if you have a plethora of anti-virus, anti-spyware and internet security programs, they will interfere with the connection. You only need ONE security program. Delete all the others. Quote
gplevritis Posted October 9, 2016 Author Report Posted October 9, 2016 Jack from Ohio..i have restarted several times and still the same problem. I have only microsoft essentials running on the computer. i have never seen this before until after i changed my router. How can i further troubleshoot this. one thing i noticed is that i lose my internet connection every time i try to start the aplication. Quote

Not exactly sure of the other method, but try stopping each service, then starting each service instead of just restart. Sometimes restart doesn't work for me but stop and start does. Good luck. 1 Quote

Abby Normal Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Sounds like you have a combo modem/router. You may need to open some ports on the new router. The 2015 ports are: 60626 60627 60628 Quote
gplevritis Posted October 14, 2016 Author Report Posted October 14, 2016 Abby Normal. Have verizon...logged into it and set up portforwarding for my desktop to all three ports but hasnt fixed the issue. Quote
