mrewa Posted June 14, 2016 Report Posted June 14, 2016 Our firm is looking to scrap the 30ish page tax organizer that our software spits out and move to a more generic yet streamlined approach to getting client information. Ideally looking for a checklist or questionnaire that would prompt gathering of materials and highlight new items relevant to the tax year. Any suggestions? Quote
Catherine Posted June 14, 2016 Report Posted June 14, 2016 I have a four-page document checklist that I have used for years. This year's version is attached. If you would prefer a Word version to customize, just let me know. 2015 Checklist - short organizer.pdf Quote
JohnH Posted June 14, 2016 Report Posted June 14, 2016 Katherine: That's a nice organizer. Much more compact that most we see, but it covers all the major bases. mrewa: Whatever type of organizer you use, it's a great idea to email it to your clients (if you aren't already doing that). 1 Quote
