ETax847 Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 Did anyone else receive an ATX renewal notice already? It claims its the best deal if you lock it in before May 31. Quote
Yardley CPA Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 I did....received it a few weeks ago. I'm still "negotiating" with my account rep. Quote
grmy2h Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 I got a notice to call a salesman for the best price, no price was listed. I don't use ATX so mine may be different than users. Quote
NECPA in NEBRASKA Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 I received a brochure with a phone number to call. There was no amount in it. Quote
GeneInAlabama Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 Drake sent out a notice stating what the price will be if acted upon by certain dates. NO NEGOTIATING. I like that kind of business. They give a price and you either accept it or don't. BTW there hasn't been a price increase in several years. 2 Quote
ETax847 Posted April 20, 2016 Author Report Posted April 20, 2016 Max package is $1,487 with taxes at the "discounted" rate Quote
FDNY Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 I was impressed how they merged our first names on a glossy letter. The way I understand it the best price is guaranteed to 5/31 although that could be negotiated all year. I also heard the new quote is 10% more than last year. And so the drama begins, before you even get to catch your breath. 1 Quote
ETax847 Posted April 20, 2016 Author Report Posted April 20, 2016 I had my fair share of issues this year with the software so I am in no hurry to renew. 1 Quote
Possi Posted April 20, 2016 Report Posted April 20, 2016 FDNY, you are so right, let the drama begin. I use TaxWise and I have to work a deal every year. I've used it for so long now that the learning curve would be too much for me to negotiate a change. I won't change for price, but I would change if another software could top the simplicity of this program. Maybe it's easy because I have used it for so long... It was 16 years ago that I was training new preparers at Liberty on this software. They have their own now, of course. 1 Quote
