Help with MA 1-NR/PY

NY Client has son in MA for college. Student's W2s have MA taxes withheld.

On MA 1-NR/PY page 3, form has line 25 income and line 26 tax, but the tax is not flowing down to line 31. Is there something I have to do elsewhere to get the tax from line 26 to flow down to line 31 ?

Is there a checkmark on line 30? That would indicate that he had a low enough income to qualify for no tax status and line 31 would be blank.
