Terry D EA Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) How many of you are getting these forms incorrectly filled out? I personally have been getting quite a few. Some fill out the whole form when all they needed was the column for the 12 months. Some have left off the covered individual and so on. I enter it correctly in the program as it will not allow me to save or proceed until the form is filled out correctly. What are others doing? Question: By "entering" correctly (I imagine based on client input) is that not altering a report from the issuer ------ just asking because many of us want (and typically know) what is "correct" and at times can fall into "correcting" something we should not. Which puts us at risk? I believe in the past you mentioned you had a law license so I will liken this to the court reporter/stenographer changing what is actually said in court to what should/might have been said when "typing the record, which is NOT what the "official record" actually is, etc..
