ljwalters Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 Client Is mechanic for borate bombers. Lives and works in Roseville Ca. In April for fire season the send him to Hollister, CA. He is paid a per diem. He bought a mobile home in Morgan Hill to stay in for those months. Can he still take the per diem to help offset the cost of the place in Morgan Hill. His tax home and regular place of work is Roseville. Quote
Lion EA Posted February 20, 2016 Report Posted February 20, 2016 Does he claim the reimbursements on Form 2106 and also his per diems on Form 2106? Does he have to claim actual for lodging, or am I thinking of self-employed? Quote
