Randall Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Any recommendations on a simple low cost bookkeeping software or just check writing software? A small business client has asked about it. QB is a bit much and costly for his purposes. I've seen a little on CheckSoft and Bookkeeper. Quote
mcb39 Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Check into Quicken. I use it for all of my small business clients; as well as myself. (also by Intuit; much as I hate to admit it.) Quote
Catherine Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 If you are looking for something dead simple, try ye olde One-Write System. One-Write I'd rather have a small client on a good paper system than a poorly-kept electronic system. 4 Quote
ADGFINANCIAL Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 In our office we use Dome accounting software for our small bookkeeping accounts. Works very well and for $59.95 it's very good. You can do do various companies with the software and puts out a very good report. Been using it for over 20 years. http://www.domeproductsonline.com/software/ 2 Quote
GeneInAlabama Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Medlin software is simple, low cost, and VERY GOOD. Go to medlin.com and click on products. Medlin can not be used on a network, but for small clients, it probably won't matter. 3 Quote
Roberts Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I use Medlin for payroll - it does the job well. I'd trust their accounting software if I needed it. 4 Quote
Medlin Software, Dennis Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Thanks for the mentions! I suspect few, if any, of the others read this BB most every day... 2 Quote
